Program date: July 11-18, 2013
Just one goal: relaxation.
On this trip, our legendary tall ship will show you exactly what it was born to do, with nothing but the wind determining its course and the captain obeying its orders. Just how many knots can the Sea Cloud get up to? How many ports will it call at? You will find the answers on each hour and each one of the six days at sea.
For a week you can enjoy your trip without any organised stops, schedules, or timetables. The freedom you experience beneath the sails knows no bounds; here you will find the perfect place to relax. Time passes slowly as you effortlessly unwind and telation takes hold.
On board the Sea Cloud you will follow the wind; on land you will follow your heart. Even though there is no fixed course, the route takes us along a coastline that is rich in beautiful harbours and picturesque bays. Once we reach the shore, the only one who decides what to do is you: walk through narrow streets, sit in delightful cafés or explore the artisan shops.
A lecturer will accompany you on this trip, delivering interesting talks on a range of specialist subjects.
